The making of an artist step by step

¿Tienes lo que hay que tener para ser una artista? El talento no te falta y te preguntas porqué nadie te toma en serio? Tenemos la respuesta: si quieres que la gente te trate como a una artista debes vestir y actuar como tal. Sadie te enseñará como conseguir el look completo de artista en cuatro sencillos pasos.


1. Dare to look different from others. Invest time and imagination in creating the best character you will ever make, that will be your new self! Shall I dye my hair violet? Would I look cool with an eye patch? Don´t ask, just do it!
1.- Atrévete con una imagen distinta a la del resto. Invierte tiempo e imaginación para construir el que será el mejor personaje que jamás hayas creado: ¡Tu nuevo yo! ¿Debería teñir mi pelo de violeta? ¿Estaría guay con un parche en el ojo? No preguntes, simplemente hazlo.

2. Bare it all at least once in your life.  The naked truth that we all learn from a tender age is that nudity sells.

3.Always keep in mind you are a GENIE! Kick off modesty and simplicity! And learn the difficult art of being charmingly arrogant. Think of a young Dalí aged 17 saying to his teachers: "You are not qualified enough to examine a genius" and Oscar Wilde at Customs Control in New York: "I have nothing to declare but my genius". Yes, that´s the attitude, my dear!
3. Ten siempre presente que eres un GENIO. ¡Fuera modestia y sencillez! Aprende el difícil arte de ser encantadoramente arrogante. Piensa en el jovencísimo Dalí diciendo a un grupo de profesores "Ustedes no están lo suficientemente preparados para examinar a un genio" y en Oscar Wilde en la aduana de Nueva York: "No tengo nada que declarar salvo mi talento" ¡Esa, esa, es la actitud!

4. Be eccentric and when I say eccentric I mean CRAZY! Every new statement you make must sound even more bizarre than the last one. Sadie, gives us an example! "Lady Grey (my pet rat) is everything to me; we share everything, including a bowl of breakfast cereal", "When I met her I looked into her eyes and I knew she was my great-grandmother´s reincarnation","People think of me an alien and I´m not going to deceive them. I don´t wear these antlers for nothing!"
4. ¡Sé excéntrica y cuando digo excéntrica quiero decir LOCA! Cada declaración que hagas debe ser más estrambótica que la anterior. Sadie, please, pon un ejemplo: "Lady Grey (mi rata de compañía) lo es todo para mí; lo compartimos todo, incluso el bol de cereales del desayuno", "Cuando la conocí y la miré a los ojos supe que era la reencarnación de mi bisabuela", "La gente me ve como una marciana y no voy a defraudarles. No en vano llevo estas antenas".
