Corazones reivindicativos

"El corazón es un cazador solitario" de Carson McCullers es una de esas novelas que siempre coloco en mi top ten de libros.

Let´s face it - and smell it - some rose based fragrances, especially the cheap ones, seem to have a hint of insecticide. Sometimes you wonder if you haven´t mistaken the fly killer can for the perfume bottle...
Para que negarlo, sólo tenemos que olerlo, algunos perfumes de rosa, especialmente los más baratos, huelen un poco a insecticida. Por eso a veces te preguntas si con las prisas no habrás confundido el matamoscas con el frasquito de perfume...
Acabo de descubrir, mejor tarde que nunca, el maravilloso body spray de rosa blanca de Mercadona. Me recuerda el  Versace Woman Body Mist spray  con la diferencia de que éste último se evapora más rápidamente. Por suerte, no siempre lo más caro es lo mejor.

Después de haber leido esto necesitarás un poco de aire fresco. Ayer, mientras leía una de mis revistas favoritas, la edición francesa de Grazia, percibí  una agradable fragancia que emanaba de sus páginas. Era el inconfundible aroma de Chanel Nº 5. A medida que iba avanzando la lectura y pasando páginas aumentaba la intensidad del perfume. En el centro de la revista encontré  un abanico hecho de numerosas tiras perfumadas con el legendario Chanel Nº 5. ¡Qué ingenioso! pensé. Continué leyendo la entrevista a la actriz Anna Mouglalis, que por cierto recordareis que encarnó a Gabrielle Chanel en el film Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky, pero tuve que interrumpir su lectura porque... ¡Me mareé! ¿Cómo es posible que una publicidad aromatizada con uno de mis perfumes preferidos de siempre casi me asfixie? ¿Inhalé demasiada esencia? ¿Añadieron demasiada? ¿O simplemente he perdido mi glamour? Cualquier cosa pero eso último jamás. No se  puede perder lo que nunca se ha tenido

Have you seen these magazine ads that include a fan made with scented strips ? Yesterday I noticed a nice smell coming  from the pages of the magazine I was reading. I could say that the lovely fragrance was the unmistakable and  old time favourite; Chanel Nº5. I found the fan and I thought it was a cool ad. I kept on reading an interview with French actress Anna Mouglalis who you´ll remember, played the Gabrielle Chanel role in the film Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky but suddenly I started to feel a bit dizzy. Was it possible? Chanel Nº5 has always been one of my favourite fragances! Did they add too much scent to the strips? Did I inhaled it for too long? Or does it simply mean that I have lost my glamour?

Whatever  the reason, It will never be the latter. You can´t lose what you  never had!
