Quién iba a decirnos que los cuadros Barbès popularizados por los parisinos almacenes Tati en sus famosas bolsas donde cabe de todo menos el glamour serían fuente de inspiración de los diseñadores de moda. Y qué decir de los cuadros Vichy en marrón y negro,típicos de los pañuelos farderos... Niña, que con eso llevaba tu bisabuela la ropa a la lavandería.Cómo podíamos imaginar que terminarían siendo conjuntos de Prada.O que esos simples cuadros en azul sobre fondo blanco de las clásicas bayetas lucirían así de bien transformados en traje pantalón. Si.amigas y amigos, esta temporada toca tirar de trapos y harapos para llenar el armario.

Who would have said that the Barbès checks popularised by Parisian Tati stores on its shopping bags - you know those huge bags where anything fits but glamour -would inspire fashion designers. And what to say about those brown and beige checks, the typical Vichy print for bundle handkerchieves... You know,baby,your great-grandmother used one of these to take the clothes to the laundry. How could have we  guessed that  they would become Prada´s fabrics one day? Or those simple blue and white checks, a common cleaning cloth print that  now looks so great turned into a suit. Yes,dear friends, it´s time to fill our wardrobes with rags.
